Having just finished <a title=\"The Secret of Monkey Island\" href=\"http:\/\/thewebsiteisdown.com\/twidblog\/?p=84\">The Secret of Monkey Island<\/a> this is a shock. Adventure will happily let you throw all your items in the river where they wash away forever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The game map is confusing as hell. Go north, then go south. Guess what? You&#8217;re not where you started. Directions are really hard to figure. Unfortunately it turns out this is the main puzzle of the game &#8211; mapping.<\/p>\n<p>Oh God these puzzles are arbitrary as fuck. \u00a0The dragon puzzle&#8230; the plover puzzle&#8230; the fucking endgame! Holy shit this game was not designed to be fair.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"line-height: 1.5;\">Pros:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Classic. First of its kind! It&#8217;s like going back in time! Lots of references in other games originated here. Exploring the cave was pretty fun.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cons:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Too much emphasis on mapping. There is no story. Only some puzzles make sense, some are just completely arbitrary.<\/p>\n<h6>Some Funny Stuff:<\/h6>\n<pre>&gt; give food to dwarf\r\nYou fool, dwarves eat only coal!
